We began more than 60 years ago in Topeka, Kansas, USA.
We are a group of people who enjoy working with fiber: exploring the possibilities and making wonderful objects of wool, cotton, angora, alpaca, silk….. Stuff to wear or decorate our homes, stuff for gifts, stuff to use or to sell…
Together members have hundreds of years of experience that they are eager and willing to share with others.
Minimal dues are charged on a yearly basis.
We offer two meetings most months on the third Saturday and third Tuesday of each month. Guild members and guests are welcome to attend either, or both, meetings depending upon their schedules. Our meetings are a chance to share what we are working on, ask questions of others, and continue to learn about the fiber arts.
Tuesday meetings are currently (usually) held at Old Prairie Town/Ward-Meade Park, 124 NW Fillmore St., Topeka, Kansas, while the Saturday meetings meet at varying locations. Meetings start at 10 am, last 2-4 hours, and are led by guild members. (schedule page)
